Very Low Frequency Proof Testing System

Test engineers and technicians need to proof test cables and switchgear after installation or rework to existing systems. The Adret range of proof testers was designed with simplicity of use and maximum operator safety in mind. The range offers many different models from DC to AC and VLF (very low frequency) as well as combination AC and DC models.

The VLF-80 provides a 57kV AC peak output voltage, suitable for VLF hipot testing 33kV cables and as a voltage source for partial discharge and tan delta testing of 33kV cable. In addition to the standard controls described, this model also contains a Cable Burn mode.
